SUMMARY:APTA Pennsylvania Webinar Series – Personalized Rehabilitation: A Reality - A Look-See Through the Eyes of a Stroke PT
DESCRIPTION:APTA Pennsylvania is proud to announce our 2021 Centennial Speaker Webinar Series that will bring you five engaging educational topics from nationally renowned speakers. \nTitle: Personalized Rehabilitation: A Reality – A Look-See Through the Eyes of a Stroke PT\nSpeaker: Steven L. Wolf\, PT\, PhD\, FAPTA\nDate: Thursday\, March 18\, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. \nObjectives:\n1. To explore the variability in responses that have always existed to treatment outcomes among individuals with stroke.\n2. To determine the extent to which this variability offers and opportunity to redefine treatment in terms of specifying what intervention might work “best” for a given patient and hence engage in the process of “personalization.\n3. To address the question of whether the concepts of personalized and precision rehabilitation are identical.\n4. To assess the extent to which these concerns should influence our interpretation of information and our dissemination of knowledge to students and colleagues. \nLearn more about the speaker and register for the “Personalized Rehabilitation: A Reality – A Look-See Through the Eyes of a Stroke PT” on the APTA Pennsylvania Centennial website: https://www.ppta.org/aptapa-centennialwebinars

SUMMARY:100 Clap Salute\, ONE United Clap and one GREAT Moment of Silence on Founders' Day | APTA Hawaii
DESCRIPTION:APTA Hawaii is inviting their members and their respective clinics to participate in producing a short quick easy video.\nThis is a good opportunity for all members of the physical therapy community in Hawaii! \nThe video is simple and should be less than 10 seconds and show whoever wanting to participate all perform a synchronized clap at one time together.\nIt can be fun and creative! \nFor example: have everyone turned back faced to the camera doing something and then jump and turn around at the same time to clap in unison.\nPlease remember to wear masks during this.\nYou don’t have say a speech or anything\, but if you want you can yell “Happy 100 APTA!” \nHere is a two minute video made by Art Lum from APTA Hawaii providing further explanation:  https://youtu.be/cJ3nH8chuss \nIf you would like to participate and do make a video\, please post  it to the APTA Hawaii Facebook page this Friday and add hashtags #APTAHawaii100 #APTA100 \nThere will also be a Facebook Live event on APTA Hawaii page on Founders’ Day. And\, please enjoy the celebration!
