SUMMARY:CPTA Centennial Float | 132nd Tournament of Roses Parade
DESCRIPTION:CPTA is sponsoring a float in the 132nd Tournament of Roses Parade to celebrate #APTA100 and raise public awareness for the physical therapy profession. \n  \nThe Rose Parade is a well-known New Year’s Day tradition AND a one-of-a-kind public outreach opportunity to educate and inform consumers about what PTs and PTAs do. The 2021 Parade has been moved to 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The parade theme\, “Dream. Believe. Achieve.” (Celebrating Education) is perfectly suited to our goal. We are excited to be able to highlight APTA’s #ChoosePT and the ways in which the physical therapy profession helps to optimize human movement. \n  \nThis event has an incredibly wide\, global reach: \n\nEstimated live audience of 700\,000 at the parade*\n45.5 million viewers nationally via television*\nAn additional international audience of 28 million viewers*\n\n  \nCountless other individuals view the floats up close when they are on display to the public for two days following the parade. \n  \n  \n*Data provided by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
